Amund stood on his front porch. He wanted to take a good look of the outside world before he was trapped in that cafe for a few hours. He didn't mean to steal that wallet. He was looking for money to pay off his rent. He looked at the I.D in the wallet one last time, Bruce. Why he never wanted to know the last name, is unknown.

Amund took his beaten up skateboard and threw it at the sidewalk. The air smelled of rain. He didn't want it to rain before he left! He looked far down the street where he could see the cars driving down the busy city roads. He looked at his watch 6:30, "Well, there is no better time to meet Bruce than now!" He had looked up Bruce on facebook and added him telling him that he found Bruce's wallet. He asked Bruce to meet him at the cafe at 7:00. He knew he would be there half an hour early, but it didn't seem to matter.

He played his whole night in his head as he rode down the sidewalk on his skateboard. He had a weird conversation with Bruce;
Bruce: Hey, who are you?
Amund: My name is Amund as you can read. I found your wallet sitting in the road near that cafe in town that requires reservations!
Bruce: Are you serious? I've been looking for that wallet all week!
Amund: Really? Well it wasn't hard to find! I should make some reservations for tomorrow evening. We can talk some, and I can return your wallet to you. How would you like that?
Bruce: Sure, I'll see you there, what time?
Amund: How about 7:00 pm?
Bruce: Okay!

Amund snapped back to reality as a woman in a car backing into her driveway honked at him. He flipped her the finger and continued riding down the street back into his mind he fell. He called the cafe and made the reservations.

All of a sudden, he flipped over a fire hydrant, "Shit!" He stood back up and dusted him self off and continued down the road. When he got to the corner of the busy street, he looked at his watch again 6:50! He rushed down the busy road on his skateboard. He knew that it would take him twenty minutes to get there, so he rode as fast as his legs would take him down the street. He thought maybe he stopped somewhere while he was entranced in his thoughts.

He finally reached the doors of the cafe, and he stored his skateboard in a plastic plant outside the cream coloured cafe. He straightened his dark blue shirt and his black pants. His fall luckily didn't rip in his fall. He walked casually into the cafe where the tall man wearing a suit behind the podium greeted him, "Hello, welcome to Cafe de la Creme! How can I be of service?" Amund smiled at the man noticing that his tie was crooked, "I'm here because I have reservations for two in the name Amund!" the man behind the podium looked strangely at him. He raised a brow at Amund, "Are you here with a date? A man?" Amund looked cruely at the man, "Does it matter which sex I choose to date? Can you show me to my seat please?" he hissed.

The man showed him his seat where Bruce was already sitting, he stood once they got there and took Amund's hand in his own, "It's nice to meet you at last Amund darling! Wasn't it wonderful of our friends to set us up on a blind date?" Amund looked confused toward Bruce. He didn't know what to say, but he felt the man's eyes on him waiting for an answer, "Yes, it's wonderful!" they two boys sat in their chairs and the man in the suit left.

"This is a beautiful cafe!" Amund said taking in the scents, sounds and sights around him. The walls were painted a beautiful cream colour with an accent of black in it. The flooring was a dark polished chestnut hardwood floor. The tables smelled of lemon cleaner. The cafe smelled like the fire that was burning away near the window seat. There were scents of different cakes and pastries and coffee and tea and hot cocoa. Bruce looked at him with wild eyes, "So what is the real reason you called me here Amund?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean did you come here to return my wallet? Or is there more to it?"
"Well I am going to return your wallet and I'm also enjoying your company. So I guess it is the latter of the two since you are a very handsome man!"
"Well, I agree but in your way. You are also a very attractive man!" Amund blushed and then reached into his pants pocket. He pulled out the brown leather wallet and handed it to Bruce.

Bruce and Amund sat in that cafe until closing eating pastries and sipping on coffee. They started the small talk, "So, Amund, have you lived here all your life?"
"Yes! I lived down the street from the library until I was sixteen, then I moved out of my parents house to live on my own, and I've lived in a little house on my own since then!"
"That is very interesting," Bruce studied Amund for a moment before continuing, "So, would you mind if I asked you what made you decide on stealing my wallet?"
"I..." Amund laughed and looked at Bruce, "Well, I found you interesting, so I thought, hey, what the hell? Why not?" Bruce glared at Amund with dark eyes, "I do not find that amusing! What if I had called the cops on you because I thought you actually stole it?"
"Well I assumed it wouldn't get to that!" They sat in silence for a moment and then broke into laughter. They started making jokes to each other and they both laughed at each one of them.

They soon realized that it was time to go. Bruce frowned as they walked out the door, "Do you have transportation home? Or can I give you a ride?" Amund looked at Bruce sheepishly, "Well I have a skateboard but if you would like to drive me home, that's fine!" Amund grabbed his skateboard and threw it in the back of Bruce's car.

When they arrived at Amund's house, Bruce laughed, "Do you live on your own Amund?" Amund frowned thinking that now he was a loser, "Is that a problem?"
"No, I was just asking! But I had fun. We should do this again some time!"
"How about tomorrow at the beach?"
"Sure I'll pick you up at noon!" Amund smiled at Bruce and nodded. He went to open his door when Bruce slid his arm around Amund and pulled it shut. Amund looked at Bruce in shock, "Is something wrong?" Bruce gaped into his eyes for a moment, "No, nothing. I just wanted to stop you for a moment. This is the end of our "date" so I thought that maybe I wasn't finished with you!" Amund looked weirdly at Bruce. He opened his mouth to speak but then closed it to reprocess his thought, "What do you mean you're not finished with me?" Bruce leaned in toward Amund and then closed his eyes. His lips locked with Amund's.

When Amund pulled away, he blushed, "Oh, I didn't think you actually thought about me that way!" Bruce pulled himself together and looked straight out the front windshield, "Well I think it's time for you to go now!" he gave Amund his skateboard and pushed open the passenger side door. Amund crept out of the door and stood on the sidewalk, "So are we still on for tomorrow?" he said shutting his door. Bruce ignored the question and put the keys in the ignition. Amund walked toward his front door, and when he turned around, Bruce's car was gone.
